Guy Richie’s latest brings together a stellar cast which includes Robert Downey Jr (Sherlock Holmes), Rachel McAdams (Irene Adler), Jude Law (Dr John Watson), Mark Strong (Blackwood) and Kelly Reilly (Mary Morstan – Watson’s love interest).

Due out late December/early Jan 2010, we don’t know too much about the plot at the moment but we can only but assume that the famous London detective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson, will engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.

However Richie is said to want to make it sexier and action packed – the likes of a Sherlock Holmes we’ve never experienced before.
