For three years after being disgraced by the Watergate scandal, ex-US President Richard Nixon kept his lips sealed.
Eventually he agreed to an interview to confront the questions of his time in office, including Watergate, with the jet-setting TV presenter David Frost. Nixon assumed he could easily outsmart the lightweight showman, but as the cameras rolled, a true battle of the wits resulted. Over the course of the encounter, each man reveals his own insecurities, ego and reserves of unvarnished truth. Frost/Nixon re-creates both the iconic interview but also the events leading up to it.
