Remember Me is a romantic drama set in the streets of New York during the summer of 2001.

Filmed by Allen Coulter the film stars some big names, including teen heartthrob Robert Pattinson, Emilie de Ravin and former James Bond actor Pierce Brosnan.

The film begins with the murder of a woman in a subway accident in 1991. Ten years later and we are introduced to her daughter, Ally Craig (de Ravin), who is still trying to come to grips with losing a loved one.

She eventually meets Tyler Hawkins (Pattinson), a rebellious 22 year old, who with his best mate Aiden (Tate Ellington) get in trouble with a policemen called Neil (Chris Cooper).

After finding out that Ally’s father happens to in fact be Neil, the two trouble makers decide the best way to get back at the hated cop is to date his daughter.

However, after spending much time together, Tyler and Ally soon start falling for each other and their love begins to blossom.

Together they help mend each others wounds form the past and slowly they start to patch up their family issues.

In the end, Tyler decides to make up with his father (Brosnan) with whom he had a huge falling out with in his earlier years.

It is here where a huge twist of fate emerges.

The film is definitely not one for the action or comedy lovers, this one is for the girls. But that doesn’t mean it is not a good flick.

Remember Me is out now in cinemas across the nation.
