Iron Man 2 is the latest of superhero movies to be released in the past few years.

After the glory days of Spiderman, Superman and Batman, the latest batch of new age super humans is actually pretty good.

The follow up to the 2008 movie does a pretty god job of keeping the plot where it should be, without getting too confusing for viewers.

The movie starts off six months on from where the first one finished off.

Billionaire industrialist Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is on a high. Everyone loves the fact he is Iron Man, his company is killing it, and he is on a high in every day life.

But the bad news for him is that it is not set to last.

The US government wants the Iron Man suit for itself, rival industrialist Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell) is desperate to corner to weapons market, and dangerous Russian scientist Ivan Vanko (Mickey Rourke) is crafting his own suit.

All this plus the fact that the suit is actually giving Tony a severe case of blood poisoning that is set to kill him if he can’t find another power source.

The plot has many things going on, but it never loses the audience, and the movie does a good job of being simple, but effective.

The acting is top quality, the plot is easy to follow and the idea is innovative.

Iron Man 2 is a must see for most movie lovers.
