Running of the Bulls took on a different name in Spain today, when a bunch of bulls used for the new Tom Cruise film escaped, running wild through the tiny town of Cadiz.

The animals were to be used in a scene for the new action comedy, Knight & Day, which will feature the popular Cruise, and the blonde babe, Cameron Diaz.

Everything was going fine, with the bulls kept in a small confined are in one of the towns narrow alleys, before the drama began.

One of the bulls became agitated and head butted the safety gate open, making way for the animals to escape.

In total, seven bulls escaped from the set and injured two women, prompting the production to shut down until all safety concerns are addressed.

The injuries were minor, and were the least of what could have happened had the bulls ended up in a more populated area.

After causing a trail of destruction through the town, the run ended at a nearby beach, much to the delight of local citizens who feared they might have fled to a children’s playground, or school area.

For those who don’t know, Knight & Day reunites the two stars of Vanilla Sky, Cruise and Diaz, and is directed by James Mangold.

According to reports, Diaz and Cruise were not on the set when the incident took place, but were not harmed.

There is no word yet on when filming will resume.
