The long awaited film (at one point there was even talk of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Anniston playing the lead roles) has been directed by Robert Schwentke, who also directed Jodie Foster in Flightplan but hasn’t done much else to date.
Guy Richie’s latest brings together a stellar cast which includes Robert Downey Jr (Sherlock Holmes), Rachel McAdams (Irene Adler), Jude Law (Dr John Watson), Mark Strong (Blackwood) and Kelly Reilly (Mary Morstan – Watson’s love interest).
Tim Burton’s latest is his adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland. And from the teaser trailer that has just been released it looks like it’s going to be another Burton masterpiece. If there was ever a story made for a Burton adaptation then this would be it.
